It's good to be back on deviantART after some time away. I'm hoping to add more into my collection. I just got back from Panama and it was a really great time. I got some good shots with my digital camera and overall it had to be one of the most beutiful places I have ever seen. It's been a good summer, but a tough one as well. I broke up with my boyfriend of 2 years before my trip to Panama and I'm still sad. I caught him with another girl and it absolutely crushed me like you would not believe. I don't know, maybe it's to be expected....afterall he is 21 and parties and goes to college and I guess college guys just do that. I don't

Hey, sorry I didnt get back to you about the rose picture. Yeah, it the roses were from Chris (my marine friend) ... I *thought* he was in Afghanistan when I titled the picture, it ends up he was probably in Somalia when he sent them, I've never asked. He did make it back from this deployment alright, though they are keeping him active (hopefully in the US only) for another year. And.... yes, he does love me. : )
I'm glad to hear that he made it back ok....my brother is still in Iraq and I miss him terribly. My best friend is dating him and she is having a really hard time because he never contacts her. I hope that things work out between you two.. it can't be easy... but I guess if you really want it you will find a way. Take care and happy holidays!!
Thanks for commenting on my photo and the kind comments. "He Said it Was Over" comes from the President saying that the war in Iraq was over a long time back, though the marine (and my very good friend) who gave me those dog tags was sent there a few months ago for an indefinate amount of time, and the emails he's writting me give detailed descriptions of events that is anything but peace... or even restrained force over there. It's definatly still a war.
